Cleartype
In order to improve the display quality, Microsoft Windows applies new font bluring technology. In Microsoft Windows XP this option was turned off by default, but in newer Microsoft operating systems - like Vista or Windows 7 it is turned on by default.
A significant disadvantage of Clartype is the fact that the fragment of screenshot (i.e. of a webpage or an application) created under one operating system (or even instance of the operating system) may differ from the same fragment of screenshot made on another instance of the operating system. Because of the text blur it is not only much harder to implement OCR, but also to use the simple pattern recognision.
While using Lordui it is strongly recommended to have the Cleartype turned off.
